The ticket shop for the fair is online and you can buy your tickets.  

Secure your ticket and enjoy 3 months of expectation looking forward to SPIEL. Since July 1, 2024 you can buy your tickets for SPIEL Essen in our online ticket shop.  

There are good reasons to get your tickets early for the fair from October 3 to 6. This year we are again offering the early bird discount until August 31.  

To offer you the best possible SPIEL experience, you must select a day when purchasing a day ticket. This way we can prevent there being days with too many people and you no longer feeling comfortable. 4-days-passes are still valid every day.  

Lootbag and special tickets  

You may have already seen that this year, in addition to the usual day-passes and 4-days-passes, we are also offering some special tickets in the store.  

Particularly cool and available for almost all ticket types this year is our Lootbag. This is an extra large bag with our cuddly Meeps on it, in which you can pack lots of games. It also comes with a lanyard from us. But particularly special is the game for SPIEL - Loot. We developed it together with Skellig Games and you can buy it at SPIEL or secure it in advance with the Lootbag and pick it up at our booth.  

New additions are tickets for costumed cosplayers. With their colorful and impressive outfits, they enrich the trade fair and are simply part of the diversity of the gaming world. We would therefore like to invite them to join us again and offer them a discounted ticket if they wear their great outfits at SPIEL.   

Also available for the first time is the 4-days-pass - Golden Demon, with which you can take part in Games Workshop's world-famous miniature painting competition and show off your painting skills to the world.  

We have also created a separate ticket for Educators Day this year to make it easier to register for the exciting talks and topics. You will need proof that you work in education, research or other educational fields.
