ANNOUNCEMENT AND
AWARD CEREMONY

The DEUTSCHE SPIELE PREIS is closely followed by the entire gaming world. As a community award, the prize reflects the opinion of the gaming community. For this reason, the prize is also accompanied by the media and presented at SPIEL.

  • Merz Verlag first publishes a list of the ten family and adult games with the most points, as well as the three best-placed children's games, both on its website and for the media in August.

  • Places 4 to 10 are sorted by points.

  • From this top ten list, Merz Verlag names the three top-ranked family and adult games and the three top-ranked children's games in alphabetical order.

  • At the SPIEL press conference, the 3rd through 1st place of the family and adult games and the 1st place of the children's game will be announced and presented.

  • Afterwards, the results will be published on the website as well as for the media.
